useful to your esteemed company. I am looking for opportunities to enlarge the
scope of my competence.
From May 5, 2015 I've been holding the
position of the senior expert in the Project Support & Marketing Department, Russian
Maritime Register of Shipping ( http://www.rs-class.org/en/ ) which includes:
MS WORD, EXCEL,
POWERPOINT are used in daily activities.
In 2012 I
joined the Analytical Department until April 30, 2015.
Functional
duties:
In 1998 I was invited to the Russian
Maritime Register of Shipping (1500 employees, 40 branches) to
the Scientific Information Department which is in charge of translation
of materials for the working meetings of RS experts in the international
organizations, support of RS experts during inspections performed by IMO
and IACS auditors, the
maintenance of the library of normative documents and RS web-site support. Due
to this employment I knew how the international principles of sustaining
shipping safety standards and the international statutory requirements are
transmitted down to the level of ship owners and ship operators.
I took part in negotiations with classification
societies, shipyards and shipping companies as an interpreter.
In 1994 I started my career in the Head Office
of the Bank Saint-Petersburg www.bspb.ru. My main responsibilities were
negotiations between President of the Bank, top managers and foreign
representatives of the World Bank, the European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development, Allied Irish Bank, Merill Lynch, Deloitte
Touche Tohmatsu Int., Euromoney, Salomon Brothers, Sun, Visa Int.,Unisys,
Arthur Andersen, BNP – Dresdner Bank, Skandinavska Enskilda Banken, ExIm Bank
of the USA etc. At that time the Bank (which official auditor
was the Deloitte&Touche) took part in the Twinning Program with
the Allied Irish Bank under the auspices of the European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development. During two years I assisted in working out meetings between the Irish
consultants and the Russian top and middle managers.
Within the framework of this Twinning Program I
knew better the banking business as an insider, mechanisms of taking important
financial decisions, the process of business planning, principles of the
interaction between subdivisions of the large organization (1800 employees,
more than 20 branches), procedures of establishing and maintaining
international top level business relations.
I have finished a specialized school where
English language is taught more profoundly. Then, I entered the commercial
faculty of the Saint-Petersburg University for Finance and
Economics and graduated from it with the Economist’s
degree, major – marketing, in 1995.
Rules of conduct and office hours are observed
in both organizations very strictly. At times, it is necessary to work extra
hours due to work pressure. Acting senior translator during his leave of
absence I am in charge of daily work of five full-time translators.
In general, my background is: higher
financial education, eighteen years in ship classification business,
three years experience in banking, strong command of English, Microsoft Office,
Internet, e-mail applications.
